Swipe Telecom has launched Swipe Halo Fone, the company’s latest phablet in the Halo series. It has a 6.5-inch ( 800×480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display based on one-glass-solution, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MTK6572 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.It comes with dual SIM support and 3G connectivity. It is 9mm thick and weighs 235 grams. It would compete with the Zync Z605phablet launched earlier this year.

The Desire 310 with a model number 310w appeared on the company’s Chinese website recently It has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera without flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

It has HTC BlinkFeed home screen and video highlights features. The Chinese variant for China Unicom had dual SIM support, but no sign of dual SIM support in the one.

The Samsung Galaxy Core LTE crosses no lines to deliver what the company thinks is the right balance between equipment and price. Focus is on a single feature, until recently exclusive to premium smartphones - LTE connectivity.

The original Galaxy Core was quite successful, and warranted a couple of upgrades. We guess most of the credit goes to the dual-SIM version. A phone that matches any flagship on specs and premieres the latest OS version, but costs barely half as much as some of them. The Nexus 5 promises a great finale to yet another exciting smartphone season and it's not only the droids that stand to attention.
This could have been a deja-vu moment for everybody but the fifth gen Google phone will probably have to work harder than ever.
