Angry Birds Go updated with new levels and karts

Angry Birds is a name you hear very often these days and sometime back, they launched a racing game – Angry Birds Go. Rovia has updated the Angry Birds Go racing game with new levels and new karts. In addition to new levels and karts, Angry Birds Go Sub Zero, as the expansion pack is called, gets a new winter chilly theme along with new currency.

The game now allows users to purchase in game content through coins earned in the game. You can get the following new karts for a price in the new expansion pack

• Tar Barreller
• Slushy Slider
• Snow Shoo
• Shred Sled
• Chuck Ice
• Mr Plow
• The Blue Cornet
• Arctic Roller

Speaking on the occasion, the company’s Vice President had to say “It’s early days and I think we are just scratching the surface on how do we do it right and how do we do it better so it’s more rewarding and more magical for the fans and clearer in terms of the value proposition. Why would you choose some things in the physical side and get those products and why would you choose some things in the digital side?”
Rovio has significantly taken the clock of Angry Birds for most of its products and we will have to wait to see how it turns out for the company.

Asphalt 8: Airborne for Android and iOS updated with 6 new tracks, new cars and more

 

Asphalt 8: Airborne for Android and iOS has received its second major update since the launch. The new update for these platforms adds six new tracks around Asian-inspired location, the Great Wall and four new cars. The new iOS update v1.3 also has Twitch integration to connect with the Asphalt community on Twitch.tv to broadcast your gameplay online. This update also adds new events in career mode, new soundtrack and an improved Main Menu.New cars include, 2014 McLaren P1, Ferrari Testarossa, Dodge Challenger and 2014 Ford F-150 to purchase and upgrade. If you don’t know, Asphalt 8 went permanently free on iOS and Android last November and went free on Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 platforms earlier this year. It is not clear when these new features would be available for Windows Phone and Windows 8.

Amazon Game controller for Android-based console surfaces

Earlier this year rumors about Amazon’s gaming console running Android surfaced. Today, Dave Zats spotted a gaming controller with Amazon branding at Brazilian cetification website, similar to FCC. It did not have any other details, but we can clearly see a layout, similar to the gaming controllers for Android. You can see three familiar Android buttons for back, home and menu, below the Amazon logo.

You can clearly see some media controls, so the gaming console might also act as a media player, and these buttons could be used to control the playback. There are analog sticks on either sides and a navipad. You can also see LED lights on the front.

More images show shoulder triggers. The controller might come with the rumored Amazon’s console and might also be sold separately to work with Amazon’s Kindle fire tablets or any other Android smartphones. The regulatory filing is tied to Amazon Fulfillment Services Inc, so this might not be fake. We will have to wait for Amazon to announced it officially later this year.
